Official meeting between the managements of ThyssenKrupp and LIFTKOM JSC
At an official meeting between the managements of ThyssenKrupp and LIFTKOM JSC, held in Vienna, Austria, on 12.10.2012, the final documents were signed through which, from that date, LIFTKOM JSC became the owner of ThyssenKrupp Elevators Bulgaria. After the official signing, the executive director of LIFTKOM JSC - Vladislav Kiprov stated: "This important day for the partnership between ThyssenKrupp and Liftkom will definitely lead to the improvement of the product catalog and services providing the best solutions for customers in Bulgaria".
One of the demonstrative examples of the fruitful cooperation between the two companies is the implementation of 8 metro stations in Sofia, opened on August 31, 2012, with a total of 53 escalators and 50 elevators delivered, installed and serviced.
Another and no less important reference object handed over for implementation to LIFTKOM JSC is PARADISE MALL in the city of Sofia, in which 70 elevators, escalators and moving walkways are being installed. This spectacular project is actually the largest shopping center on the Balkan Peninsula with a built-up area of 200,000 m2. A similar object is CITY MALL Carrefour - Stara Zagora, in which we install 14 escalators, 4 moving walkways and 8 elevators, Carrefour in Bulgaria MALL and others.
For the last 5 months, we have delivered and installed over 270 escalators and elevators on the territory of the country, as you can see, mainly in shopping centers, hotels, and other buildings with different purposes. Outside the territory of Bulgaria, for the last 6 months, LIFTKOM JSC has delivered and installed 21 elevators for prestigious sites in Istanbul, Turkey, 15 elevators and 6 escalators for projects in Kosovo, 3 elevators for a hospital in Bucharest, Romania, 9 elevators the elevator in a residential complex in Albania.
